diagnosis and treatment of infertility, first/second/third generation IVF (including
egg/sperm donation), microsperm retrieval, embryo freezing and resuscitation, artificial
insemination (including husband's sperm and sperm donation), paternity testing, chromosomal
disease
diagnosis, high-throughput gene sequencing, endometrial receptivity gene testing and other
clinical
technology applications. Many of these technologies are at the leading level both domestically
and
internationally.
In recent years, there have been more and more people talking about going abroad for IVF and surrogacy. But if they really want to go, most people don't know how to take the first step. After all, going to the United States? Too expensive, any bill can make people gasp for breath. Going to Georgia? In the past two years, it was indeed popular, but now there are more people going, not to mention the long waiting time, and various uncertain factors are beginning to emerge.
So many people turned their attention to Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. But having a child in another country is not as simple as traveling to another place. Is the law reliable there? Is medical care okay? Is the price really as good as rumored? These are all things that really need to be understood.

First level: Can we pass the legal level?
To be honest, when I first heard that Kyrgyzstan allows assisted reproduction, didn't you feel discouraged? Could this be exploiting a legal loophole?
Later on, I found out that the Ministry of Justice clearly stated in black and white that in vitro fertilization and assisted reproduction are legal, regardless of your nationality or marital status. And the entire process is standardized, with documents to be notarized and contracts to be formal, not the kind of shady operation.
The most reassuring thing is the process there. Before the child is born, you need to go there in person, and after birth, you need to apply for a birth certificate for the child yourself - with your name written directly on it. Not to mention, we also need to do a paternity test to make all legal procedures clear and transparent.
Level 2: Can the medical level there be trusted
To be honest, if we only look at the local medical conditions in Kyrgyzstan, it cannot be considered top-notch.
But interestingly, there are several hospitals established in collaboration between Chinese and Kyrgyz officials over there, such as the first Chinese funded reproductive hospital in Kyrgyzstan, the Tulip International Reproductive Center. Their equipment is transported from China, and most of the doctors are experienced domestic experts, some of whom have worked as senior directors in public hospitals for more than ten years.
So as long as you choose the right hospital, you don't have to worry about medical standards!
Level 3: Is it really worth it if the price is cheap?
Price is certainly an important factor, but don't just look at the total price.
The smart approach is to break down the expenses one by one: medical expenses, compensation fees, document fees, living expenses... This way, comparing with other places is meaningful. Sometimes an institution may offer a slightly higher price, but with a high success rate and reliable doctors, it is even more worth considering. After all, the most important thing is not how much money is spent, but whether a healthy baby can be successfully held.

Ultimately, it cannot be denied that going to Kyrgyzstan to have a child may not be as perfect as some people claim, but it can definitely meet the needs of the vast majority of families. In other words, it is a tangible path - suitable for some people, but not suitable for others.
If you are considering this path, it is recommended that you calm down and think through these questions one by one. Only by crossing the three hurdles of law, healthcare, and expenses can we walk this path steadily.
After all, this is not just a cross-border medical treatment, but also a promise about home. Every step is worth thinking carefully before you proceed.
